I have never had one issue with connecting and staying connected to WiFi devices. I use it for travel as well. Only in the states though. I have connected to several Hotel and food/cafe shops with no issues at all.

Moonsurface, if you have to press really hard in fresh paint, have you tried installing the N-Trig Wintab Drivers? That fixed the issue for me. Without the wintab drivers I had to press REALLY hard for Fresh paint to work. But other apps worked fine. http://www.n-trig.com/Content.aspx?Page=wintab

I purchased the i7/256 and have never had an overheating issue. It works perfect for me. I decided to go with the 256 and add a 128GB SD to save $400 to spend on accessories instead :D
