The Microsoft Community is completely different from customer support! I would say this is a matter of warranty! Just go to microsoft.com or open the Surface app on your SP7+. That'll help you get to customer support.

Agreed! I love my 2017 SP. Especially since I have one with advanced LTE. And they havent made that since.... yeah.... the 7+. But I cannot sell that to my CFO (aka my wife)

I think you should look at EBay. The stuff that Microsoft has available for the Surface RT is most likely just because it never got sold. Good for you that you're still using an SP1! I was thinking I was clinging to my SP 2017 (5) for too long

The USB drive is my micro SD card, but I don't mind. At the time of the test I had closed most applications, was not logged in with the other user that I have on this computer and only had this tab and the userbenchmarks.com tab in Edge open. Hope it helps.

I don't think the battery replacement is something that is offered through the store. And even if it is, I wonder if it is feasible. I also own a SP 5 2017. Advanced LTE in my case. I can run these benchmarks too if you'd like. Is it just a matter of going to that website or is it a paid service?

Most likely it is an original screen. In general if you send something to Microsoft for "repair", they will send you a refurbished one. And yet... even if yours is refurbished by Microsoft, then I would say the screen is as "original" as the initial screen
