Windows 8 and their genius DPI scaling. It's a nightmare for me too.

The reg fix works for me (Chrome 36 Beta). The fonts on a couple websites look a "bit" wonky, but I am definitely OK with it now (until more official support is implemented).

Do you know if cosmetic wear on the fabric is something that would be covered? It's turning white in areas where I don't even make physical contact (above the keys), and its peeling on the spine.

Is cosmetic wear covered by the warranty on the Type Cover 2? When doing a warranty swap at the M$ Store, do they swap for a brand new in box unit or a refurb?

My WiFi is working ok now; wasn't SP2 related.

I've had issues connecting to "some" WiFi's after the update too.

Couldn't one boot off USB? I was hoping for an "in Windows" solution. Don't necessarily need a dual boot. Something like Parallels on Mac OS would be good.

Hi al2fast, Thanks! Honestly, I have no real requirement to test Linux other than to waste time on an 8 hour road trip of mine. Which route would you recommend I take for installing Linux? Are you recommending UBUNTU? I know there are many Linux distros...

Not sure if anyone can simplify or send me a link? I'd like to try out Linux on my SP2 (4GB RAM). What would be involved to take advantage of Hyper-V to get this installed and working?

Did you actually purchase it? How well / tight does it fit / secure the SP2?
