Should be no border holds up with this. It's being shipped UPS Express from a very trustworthy / bonded seller. Still waiting on my package to Calgary to update on UPS.

Looks like they're shipping Next Day to wherever it's going (Canada and US thus far).

It takes several hours from the waybill creation to visibility on the tracking page.

I wouldn't think too much into it. Once UPS gets the package, they re-weigh it anyways.

I'm actually OK that my tablet "likely" won't ship until today to arrive tomorrow. I'm not arriving at the hotel until tomorrow, and would prefer I get it out of their hands as soon as possible.

I am going on a trip somewhere with lower sales tax, but no M$ store. By pre-ordering, I get both the EDU discount and the lower tax rate thus saving me over $200, and it will be shipped right to my hotel for me.

If they are shipping from the US and they do intend to ship on time, we may not see pickup until tomorrow.

So in Canada, while we have shipping notification and UPS tracking #, the shipment hasn't actually departed the origin yet.

I am someone that REGUARLY uses UPS Worldwide Saver from the USA to Canada. If Microsoft is actually shipping today, to Canada from the USA, it WILL arrive next day to urban centres within Canada (unless they specifically instruct UPS otherwise)...

Package is being shipped to Canada via UPS Worldwide Saver (which is next business day to major city centre in Canada from USA). I'm surprised it isn't being shipped from Canada. Will see what the originating city is as soon as tracking is updated.
