I just did the Geekbench test and got a 4553 single core and 12516 multi-core score. I don't know if it matters that my power mode was set to better performance and not best. Hopefully I won't drop that much after all the patches are done.

I'll definitely take advantage of that today so I can get a baseline for my machine. Has anyone used Geekbench before and after to see the difference?

I just had a thought- would MS still push a patch out to the SB2 even if the chip is not vulnerable?

I don't know if anyone brought this up yet but are the current SB2's impacted by the security flaw? I guess it is too soon to know the impact to performance after the patch.

Thanks, I just got my Apple cable and it's charging like a pro! The only issue I noticed is that I got a couple of warning messages that it was not charging at a full rate and there is also a yellow exclamation point over the charging symbol in the system tray.

I haven't heard any whine on my 15". Maybe it's there but nothing beside the fan was audible.

I haven't tried pulling it out yet but I don't really plan on swapping cards often.

I just bought one off Amazon and at first my system did not recognize the micro sd/adapter, so I pushed it in a little further and it works perfectly and is exactly flush with the side. This adapter is a perfection solution for my 256 GB card.
