Mouse moves on its own when closed

Check that your power supply has the ground connected (not all power sockets have them). I had this happen on another laptop I owned (Lenovo) whenever the grounding wasn't connected. Seems the metal body build up some static or something else which require grounding to prevent the random...

Anyone seen any hard shells or rubberized ones for the SB?

That's exactly what I'm after as well. I do hope to see these shells come out soon. I also ordered a 9h glass screen protector which has not arrived yet. I just hope it doesn't create a edged lip around the screen.

Anyone seen any hard shells or rubberized ones for the SB?

I'm anxiously waiting for hard/silicone based shells to come out for the SB. There are tons of them out there for macbook pros and airs and I think they add great protection and probably also a better grip (for the tablet). Did anyone spot any hard shells for the SB out there? Thanks!

Missing Power Plans, And Connected Standby

I had the exact same issue Today. What I did is turned the cs option to 0 on the registry, then rebooted and created a new custom power plan. I selected that plan and then re-edited the registry to set the cs option back to 1 and rebooted. As a result I am back to the original state BUT my SB is...

After a few days with the new Intel 520 beta driver - excellent results so far!

Well I didn't get any BSODs but as I hacked the registry (using some damn privacy software) I ended up re-installing windows (clean install) Yesterday. Since the re-install I'm on the stock drivers and had no crashes yet so I didn't re-install the beta to try it again yet. I do hope MS release...

Poll Are you guys using insider builds or not?

That's exactly my thoughts as I hold a lot of client information and data on my SB and I don't want to risk it. I also fear "beta quality" builds that might take my machine down (or instable) as it's my primery working machine.

Poll Are you guys using insider builds or not?

Hi, I'm not sure if it's a good idea to enable the insider builds on windows update as they do take a lot of usage information from the pc (hence no privacy) and also I'm not sure how stable they are. Are you guys using insider builds or not?

After a few days with the new Intel 520 beta driver - excellent results so far!

Yeah - that's the way to do it. Download the zip, extract and do "update driver" from the Intel display adapter under your device manager. Surprisingly this beta version is A LOT more stable than the non-beta version of the driver (at least on my machine).

After a few days with the new Intel 520 beta driver - excellent results so far!

Well that's what I am reporting. I had the same issue and after upgrading to the new drivers it stopped crashing. Give it a try.

After a few days with the new Intel 520 beta driver - excellent results so far!

Hi, Just updating the team that after using the new beta driver from Intel for the 520 display adapter I can happily report that the driver crash issues seem to finally be gone! I was skeptical but I did install the driver (extracted the zip file, device mananger->Manually update the driver )...

Hmmm, sounds ok yet I'm not sure. Hopefully others can check their devices and update the thread later on (most member post late during the day).

SB i7/256/8 slight bulge on the back of tablet from heat?

Hi there, I just checked mine (i7/16gB/512GB) and I didn't notice a bulge. Is it noticeable by eye or do you need to really press it hard to feel it? The tablet center does indeed tend to get hot under load but I didn't test it in games yet so I'm not sure if it's normal or not. If it's...

Where do you hold the Tablet when you pull it out?

Really? I didn't try that yet. Any specific corner or will any one of them do?

Where do you hold the Tablet when you pull it out?

Thanks Guys! I was thinking that I was miss handling it. I also got the two years plan for it but as I'm on the other end of the globe if I do want to send it for warranty it will mean about a 4-5 weeks round trip (using FedEx) so I rather avoid that :-)

Where do you hold the Tablet when you pull it out?

When I pull it out I grasp it around the top part and pull but it always feel as if I'm nearly squashing the screen, which seems very fragile. As there's no real metal area to grab I'm curious to hear if someone found any better place to pull the tablet?
