I've no need to double-check, I've speed tested and have accurate numbers to go by, you might want to test your own though for your own reference. In your original post you mentioned issues with your bluetooth audio performance, I didn't realize you had other issues as well.

Should be OK, but could help rule that out. Microsoft used a combo WiFi/Bluetooth chip like they did in the SP2 (which I have). When I have both Bluetooth and WiFi on, my WiFi speed is reduced by half -- a known issue that was never fixed.

If you don't use albums, and just the Camera Roll, you can turn on Camera Roll backup within OneDrive on your iPhone and new pictures you take will be backed up. It'll work, but doesn't deal with albums. Personally, I have my primary Pictures folder on my SP2 setup within my OneDrive folder...

I think the pen is more for note-taking and light graphics work.

WiFi issues are common with the combo WiFi-Bluetooth card used in the SP2, i.e., my internet speed drops by half if I have Bluetooth & WiFi on at the same time -- try turning your Bluetooth off and see if that helps.

Your choices are very limited extension-wise with IE -- sounds like you've found all there is to learn in that area. Personally, I use IE when I run into a site that won't run video with ad blocking in place, like CNET videos -- it's easier than temporarily disabling AdBlock in Chrome.
