If you look in task manager you will see a process opened chrome.exe with every tab you have open. Chrome has become a resource hog.

That's because your SB doesn't have the same drivers as your desktop or you SP4. It could also be your profile is corrupt on that PC. If you do a factory restore it will create a new profile.

I had an issue where it stopped working and then I got an error that the driver was corrupt. I reinstalled the driver and it's worked fine for over a year. I replaced the battery once after that.

Basically when you try to disconnect the clipboard you will get prompted to close the apps that are using the DGPU. So i suggest you launch the apps after the clipboard is reattached after turning it around.
