Love everything about it but not the N-Trig Digitizer. I use my surface to draw and N-Trig devices have so far been really crappy for this task. Will wait for reviews of the digitizer before I decide. Anyone know which video chip they went with? They didn't mention it, are they still sticking...

It's easy to see, go to the task manager, it lists cores: 2, logical processors: 4. Hyperthreading splitting 2 cores into 4 logical processors.

I don't want a laptop, I want a device like the Wacom Cintiq Companion but with better specs and an mSata port. Something that I can use as a tablet, that has a Wacom Digitizer, and a removable keyboard. The SP2 is a perfect device for this, but the 10 inch screen leaves much to be desired.

I would love a Surface Pro 3 with a 13 inch screen, intel hd 5000 or better and a removable mSata drive, and atleast 12 gb of ram. It would be a true laptop replacement and I'd pay upto 2K for it. Fanless would only make it slower.

Either it's corrupt or you need to unblock the exe. Right-click on the exe and select properties. Then look towards the bottom for a button that says UNBLOCK.

I had this issue one week after getting my SP2. After multiple hard resets and a windows reinstall, microsoft sent me a new unit. After a reinstall, it couldn't connect to any wireless network and I couldn't even log in.

The pens are passive, so no special drivers, works with windows or wacom feel drivers. Accuracy should be the same with every pen, accuracy comes from the digitizer in the screen and the drivers.

If you're attaching it to a 24" monitor, all you need is a keyboard and mouse and there is no difference from a desktop. I'm not sure what tips you'll need beyond that.

You could also try running the ClearType wizard. I ran it on my SP2 and it made the text way easier to read. It may help, or it may not.

Is there anyway (registry hack?) to enable this option for 1920x1080 resolution? I use 3D and Design software and need all the pixels I can get. Plus reducing the vertical resolution by 10 pixels would make it a bit blurry, wouldn't it?
