Just installed 10166 and it wakes up from sleep now, even while in the dock! Woot!

Well, I just ran into a boo boo. I can't open OneNote in 10162. I get an error dialog box that says, "Sorry, something went wrong. We were unable to sign you in. Please try again later." along with a "Try again" button, which doesn't do anything.

Same here.

I tried this and then tried to run Reader, which took me to the Store, which told me I needed to reinstall. I attempted that, but it stops right after downloading and the only message I get is, "Try that again". So I do, a few times, and still it doesn't work. Thanks for trying though.

Interestingly, the live tile for Calendar magically started working today. The Weather app still isn't working though. Funny thing, today the leafblower is running and System is using around 20% of the CPU. All cloud drives are done syncing, so not sure what's up.

Overall, I'm quite pleased with 10162. I think I'm here for the long haul now. The only quirkiness I've noticed thus far: Inability to activate, but that's because the MS activation service is down for a few days. Live tiles don't work. The Store shows updates available for MSN Travel and...

Yeah, I went for it and am running it now. The only problem I'm running into so far is that it won't activate like others have said. So I guess I'll just ignore that and hope it gets resolved soon.

Fearing for what my future might hold, I decided to start from scratch (ugh). So I recovered my 8.1 install using the official MS recovery image, then went to the Insiders site to start the process of upgrading to 10. Now I'm on 10130 and waiting impatiently for 10162 to arrive.

My last name is Harness, so I suspect they aren't prioritizing alphabetically. ;-) I think I might have to try downloading the ISO and see how that goes.

Well I decided to jump back in. I finished upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 build 10130 and now 3 hours later it won't find the update to 10162. But I'll keep trying.

May have to sink my teeth into this one.

I concur. The whole system seems far more stable than it was previously. Plus my boot time improved and the external monitor issue I posted about earlier today seems to be a thing of the past. So far (still a bit apprehensive about it).
