I am a state machine with two states: SP3 is working: this is the best device ever SP3 is not working: just give me an iPad already Right now I'm in between but will be at the latter state soon because this right clicking issue is driving me up the wall.

I'll either buy my third Surface or my third iPad (pro). I'm just standing by the sidelines seeing what each one brings to the table.

I'm pretty sure the lady in the picture is using both devices because her job gave her both devices to use, but I do agree that the iPad doesn't do very many things, and the iPad Pro, based on who it's directed at, does even less.

I actually figured it out! If you turn OFF tablet mode, double tapping no longer brings up the keyboard. That and moving the start bar to the top seems to make for a fantastic note taking experience :)

hahaha I wish this wasn't an issue but here it is: My device was off/standby/(whatever it does when screen is off) all night, left it at 100% battery. Woke up and device was still off, but was VERY hot and wouldn't turn on :(

Agreed, but what scares the crap out of me, and should scare most of us really, is that the system ALLOWED it to run like this when in standby. It might be safer to turn on hibernate or power down after using the device in W10. This seems like just about the worst bug that could happen.

I can't believe you just mentioned that. My SP3 has worked perfectly for the past year, got sketchy after W10. I leave the device at 100% battery last night, wake up and it's off, HOT and wont turn on. I plug it in and it still wont turn on. I' pretty sure Windows 10 did some sketchy crap...

Anyone else experience this? The device was unplugged but fully charged and off (or whatever W10 does when the screen is off). The next morning the device is very hot, and wont turn on even if the power is plugged in.

It was off all night, NOT plugged in, so why is it hot? What the heck is happening to this machine when it's not even on for it to heat up until the battery dies? Not that I even have to say it but yes I'm on W10. Oh yeah and now even though it's plugged in, it doesn't turn on. these steps...
