Yeah it does get hot, but only after a while of usage for me. If it's getting hot after less than 30 mins of use i'd be worried. But yeah it gets hot. I don't mind so much because I only use it in tablet mode for 10-20 mins at a time and the rest I use keyboard on my lap.

To answer your question, mine still gets REALLY REALLY HOT. I have Hyper V on and usually about 2 windows/ten tabs of chrome. Then maybe have my torrent program too - maybe. It tends to run very hot after a while using it.

If the RT is meeting all your needs, is there a particular reason you want to upgrade? It sounds as if the i3 would be the best option for you. I've had both the i5 128gb 4gb and i5 256gb 8gb and noticed no difference between them as I am not using the SP3 for anything which pushes the device...

If you had an option to send clips to your TV (like on youtube wesbite/official android app), I would use it more often.

Mine was really bad too using the trackpad. The trackpad is quite poor in general at recognising two finger scroll. You might also think it's sluggish because you need to change the number of lines per scroll - cant remember where it is in the settings but that improved things for me.

These ads are actually quite funny, to the point and get the message of the product across. I do somewhat agree that it's being advertised as a laptop that's a tablet and competing with the MacBook, but there is no keyboard included.
