Agreed. The only gaming I do on the SP3 is whatever is available through the Windows Store. Games that I have with Steam....that's why I have a beefed up desktop for.

After the two times it locked up, it's been fine. I'll keep an eye on it. If it happens again, then definitely taking it back to BB for an exchange.

Has anyone experienced any freezing or locking up on their SP3? Had my unit for a couple of weeks and just today and I had two occasions that the unit would completely lock up. Had to hold the power button for roughly 15 seconds to power down. just curious if anyone else has experienced this...

I have the power cover too and the extra juice is nice, but man, it adds a lot more weight to the Surface.

I meant that because I set up my SPro1 start screen with uniformed grouped apps, when I fired up the SPro3 and transferred my settings, the grouped apps were not uniformed. That's all I meant. SPro1, I was allowed three wide apps on one column, while the SPro3 allows four wide apps.

I ripped mine off.

Skin is just for outer protection and I never had any heat issues with the SPro1 and I had the skin on the Pro1 since about day one of purchase.
