Man, I hate reading stories like these. Out of all the electronics I ever owned, and that's a lot of them, I'v only had my HTC HD7 screen cracked after it slipped out of my car when I opened the car door. Sorry to hear about this.

I've connected to my house WiFi and then to work WiFi without any issues. If I do, it ends up being a router issue.

Question, is the Start screen still available? I ask because I saw some screenshots that displayed some sort of Start screen that had apps and a profile to the left side. Wonder if that was there. I like the Start screen and I wonder if this means that Windows tablets are stuck with the desktop...

Hyper-V + Windows 10 = FTW

The only time I seen this happen to me is when I use a VPN client. During the VPN connection, all my MUI would not function, but anything on the desktop does. Once I disconnect, then everything is back to normal.
