The USG case on my SPR3, never had any heat issues at all. I get many questions about this and never had an issue since it has plenty vents on the case that runs along the tablet. Since the S3 is heatless in way, I'm sure there's no heat issue if the UAG case was placed on.

Can't use the kickstand of the Surface itself, but the case does have a Kickstand of its own and it's as good as the built in stand.

For example, on my HP Stream, if I connect the charging cable to my tablet and wall, the tablet will not charge at all while in use. I have to completely power down the tablet for it to charge. That's what I meant about the S3.

Maybe I read this for something, but is it true that you cannot charge the S3 while having the charging cable connected? I know for my HP Stream 7 it's true. I have to fully turn it off for it to charge.

The only devices that are wired to my home network are the TVs, game consoles, and desktop computers. I used the power line adapters to get them wired and they've been working great. The only items that are wireless are of course the mobile devices.

Just my bag to place the Surface in, the power supply and cord, the touch pen that was included, wireless mouse, and one real pen. I like to travel light.

My Pro3 is so bad ass, that I forgot all about the Samsung Ultrabook that I own. It's just sitting there in my kid's learning room.

I would say get the Pro 3. It's a great device and you wont regret it. Just like someone else said, the difference between Pro 3 and 4 will probably be minimal, just like Pro 1 and 2 were. And if you get it from Best Buy, let me know so I can give you my Rewards number so I can rack up some...
