There was no way of resetting it from the UEFI. I rebooted, went into the BIOS (UEFI, but I'm old school...) and checked. The only options were to turn TPM on and off, and to accept 3rd party keys in addition to Microsoft's keys.

Yep, that's where it is. The problem for me is that I can't really be without the thing because it's now my single work computer. But I'm planning to check out the Surface Book this spring (it's not on sale in Norway yet), so if it doesn't get more loose I may wait until it's replaced by that.
