No, I don't think hibernation drains the battery. I think leeshor was combining his total shut down time, including sleep and then hibernation after 30 minutes and taking an average.

Keep in mind that the battery in the tablet alone lasts about 2 hours. The keyboard battery holds about 75% of the total battery capacity.

In Tablet Mode. when you need to enter text sometimes the virtual keyboard pops up and sometimes the handwriting bar (is that what it's called?) pops up. What determines which one pops up? I'd rather get the virtual keyboard every time. Is there a setting for that?

That's exactly what I plan to do! Just playing around with the M3 and i5, it's pretty clear that the M3 lasts much longer on a battery charge than the i5.

What is "the Smart Filter?" I did a quick search and it appears to be some software on the server end. How would that be the cause of this problem? Please elaborate.

I wonder if speed is an issue here. When I click on a link sometimes nothing happens. And sometime something happens, but there's a delay. The problem with the latter is that there's no user feedback, so I don't know if the computer is nonresponsive or just slow. As a result, I click again...

Is there anyone with an SP4 who does NOT have this problem? If so, please reply to this thread with your experience and/or observations.
