I like to install the latest from Intel as I like to get the most performance out of my surface. I play Starcraft 2 on my SP2. Have had no issues installing the latest drivers from Intel, even the beta ones.

Looks like this WinTab driver only works for Photoshop. Programs like ZBrush, Mudbox, Maya, etc... don't work with pressure sensitivity with this driver.

Well, my SP2 would sometimes wake from sleep on it's own (I shut it down now), no cpu load, and would be really hot when took it out of it's sleeve. Maybe if it's loose in the bag, not in a sleeve, it would not be terrible. On the other hand, my iPad gets really hot when it's in it's sleeve and on.

But why get a tablet with a dense dpi screen and then running it at low resolution? That's like getting an HD TV but forcing everything to SD resolution. If I'm paying for 2160x1440 screen, I expect to run at that resolution with no compromises. Also, not sure if the Intel Drivers will let you...

With N-Trig there is noticeable lag when drawing fast, sketching. Wacom is way better at this and the lag is not noticeable in most situations. There is no way N-Trig can compete with Wacom from an artists perspective and I don't get all the commercials trying to sell the SP2 to artists then...

We don't know if the 9 hours are with an i3 or i5 or i7 processor. I'm guessing they would list the i3 battery life, without telling you specifically which it is, technically still being correct.
