Our consultants have a similar issue with their wifi 4G modems, all different models of netgear modems. Connects for 5 seconds, then the modem disappears. That is on the SP3. We haven't identified what the issue is yet.

Perhaps because in 2013 Apple started using PCI SSD's which are considerably faster and MS only did that with the SP4 and SB. PCI would add substantially to the benchmarks if you compared with a non-PCI model. I'm guessing though.

I think most of the hate comes from using the SP3 with Windows 8 which was dismal as far as I am concerned. Start8 saved my sanity. Windows 10 is a vast improvement.
