Try to uninstall and reinstall the Intel graphic driver. It worked for me.

For those running this problem: I uninstalled the driver and installed it back. No more error. CQFD.

I have the update installed but for some reason it keeps saying: • Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) HD Graphics Family - Error 0x80200068 No idea why.

That would be my dream.

Surprisingly, my system (8Gb of RAM) uses 11% of memory at idle. Far from the ~20% of 9926. Well, 10041 is so far so good, but from a user point of view it is not very different from 9926. If someone figures out how to get the Intel HD update that fails to install, please share the solution !

I have been stuck at 2% for ~ 10 minutes but then it continued normally. For those who are stuck too, do not do anything stupid. Just wait.

Well, you said pretty much everything. Gabe Aul said a few times that they did not release 10036 to the public because of important bugs. These issues (People, Mail, Calendar, Start Menu not working) have since then been reported pretty much everywhere (Twitter, Neowin, Insider Forums, etc...)...

In my opinion, NOBODY should install a version of Win10 that was not made public by MS and which is not available from the update settings. In term of safety and security, this is a very stupid choice. Wait 3 more days and you'll probably have an official build.
