What you say makes a lot of sense even though I hardly imagine the SP4 coming with the 15W proc. The miniaturization of the motherboard allowed by the use of a low Watts processor is to much of an advantage. It has to be the future for computers.

And another forum to moderate :) I actually think that having a full Windows instead of RT is going to make things much easier for those who want to buy a Surface.

And in Canada. 639$ before taxes for the cheapest model.

Might this Surface 3 be a good preview of a fanless SP4 ? I guess so. Fanless, thiner, and same form factor as a SP3 = SP4 ?

10041 was rock solid. I guess it is the consequence of "us insiders" asking for more updates and quickly. As a result we have more unstable versions.

Update: after hours of issues, my SP3 is finally back on Win 8.1. It was a hell of a long route. After at least 50 useless attempts, the recovery USB worked. Dilemma: Should I try 10047 again or stick with 8.1 for a while ?

Thank you. I am going for a full recovery at first and if it doesnt work, then fresh install of 10041. It's funny because my main problem after the 10047 update was the corruption of Spartan. I did a refresh, it screwed up everything but Spartan, which is now the only thing working on my SP3...

How to check it ? I am afraid now because the refreshed Win10 is asking for my Windows activation key. There is a bunch of things going wrong.

Well, I plug my recovery USB in (USB that I already used once) with all the files on, and when I chose recovery, it says it cant recovery, and when I want to boot on the USB, it doesnt boot.

Well, my honey moon is over. Build 10047 broke my heart and my SP3. I am not even able to start from a recovery USB, and windows says unable to recover settings. I cant roll over to a previous version either. Win10 10047 keeps asking to enter my product key. Any help to reset completely my...
