I am having an identical problem with my Microsoft Display adapter. I can see the video but no audio. I guess the display adapter needs a new driver for Windows 10. I'll Google and see if anyone has found a remedy.

I also only have the X to close Edge on my SP3 under Windows 10. Maybe there is a setting someplace. It doesn't really bother me that much. If I wanted to start another app and leave Edge running, I just click on the Start Button and open up another app and Edge gets minimized.

This worked great for me. Now all I need to do is press the Enter button a time or two to wake up my Surface from sleep and am not bothered by the having the sign in screen pop up.
