Defnintely i5. Much better to be over than under IMHO

£2249 for the i7/16GB model is one heck of a premium. My XPS 9550 was cheaper than this, and even with a RAM upgrade to 32 GB not as expensive. I think I am going to stick with my SP4 i7/16GB. :(

Well the SB is finally coming to the UK. Personally am intrigued by it so should I dump my SP4 for an SB? I don't really do anything that needs a dGPU and if I did, I have my Dell XPS 9550 for it. I certainly do not 'need' three machines.

Even with an external SSD it would appear so. Am using a Samsun T1 1TB.. which is strange. Though I only use the 2.4 WiFi band. Hopefully a fix shall appear. Ah well seems like I won't be using VM's on the SP4 anytime soon. Switching to 5 GHz kills myWifi unfortunately. :(

Off late have noticed that if I attach an external HDD the Wifi stops working for the duration that it is attached. Haven't quite figured this one out. Any ideas? Solutions?

Given that I have an i7/16GB I am quite sure its a pro 4. And since I downloaded the app from the Windows Store on Win 10 I am also quite sure its the store app.

I have Netflix and haven't faced issues. Not with Daredevil, JJ or anything. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Also it is a stupid question but do you have enough bandwidth?

PC 80% of the time and Tablet 20%. Mostly doing software related stuff, and taking notes/doodling during meetings.

Am essentially looking for a decent music player something like the old WinAmp or something. Not really bothered about the ability to download etc. Just want to be able to play music, and make it sound like I want it to. Free would be great... :)

That is weird. I don't play games, but have stressed the CPU running ETL etc.. haven't noticed that at all. Will try it again and actually look for this behaviour

Not that I have noticed so far. I have run a few CPU intensive tasks, and haven't noticed anything.

Now that you mention it, that could be an issue as well. I use a ton of external HDD's without which I would be dead in the water. Will check if that causes an issue as well. Fingers and toes crossed for a quick fix.
