There are graphics issues on most Skylake based laptops including those from Dell, Lenovo et al. The culprit seems to be the intel driver. Nothing to do with MS per se.

I have had the screen go black, particularly if the machine is on, and left to idle for about ten minutes while on battery. I have found that either pressing the power button, or plugging it in overcomes that. It isn't enough of an issue for me to send it back over this. And yes it is irritating...

Being honest, I have never understood the appeal of an iPad, min, normal or pro. It's like an oversized iPhone that you can actually use to make calls. Or a toy to keep kids busy playing whatever they play these days.

I use a 128 GB card as well, and just leave it in. No issues.

It does replace the ultrabook quite easily. It can do anything a typical Ultrabook can do, with a fair amount of flexibility. Best of all the pen allows for very easy note taking, and can replace the traditional paper notebook as well.
