No MS store in the yUK. Seem to have resolved the issues.. now have the stupid niggling problems with Office. The new version has a mandatory sign in.. which I hate. etc..etc.. one step at a time I guess.

My SB2 is refusing to update to 1709.. tried the Windows Update route and Manual. Additionally the battery seems to refuse charging beyond 95% overall. 100% on base and 80% on tablet. I am stumped.. this is literally a couple of hours out of the box. Very weird.. any ideas?

Try booting from the USB and doing a clean install after formatting the drive. Else if it is still under warranty send it back to MS.

Interestingly all of the 15in models on the US MS site are 'out of stock'. What did they build. a hundred of each?

I don't know if you need Java, since I don't know what you have installed on your machine. Try uninstalling Java if you don't want it, and see what breaks. Else it is generally a good idea to have all of your software up to date.

I think the 15in SB2 will be available for preorder on the 9th in the US. However outside of the US is anyone's guess. I want the 15in model as well, but don't want to wait until April for it in the yUK
