It does, but not exclusively. The base battery will drain down to some partial level first, then the clipboard battery will join in. "Currently", my base is at 67% capacity, and my clipboard is at 97%. I'm not sure what the turnover point is, and I suspect it's a sharing of the load at that point.

OK, now I understand. My app opens up directly, and I could only speculate why yours doesn't. Wish I had an answer. Perhaps it has something to do with the location of your app, or whether it was open when you first assigned it? Neither seems likely, but who knows?

Office lens allows you to take oblique pictures of documents and whiteboards and automatically squares them up and cleans them up. Also sends them right to your One Note.

Office Lens is very useful, but I have to pull out my iphone and use that to capture a shot for my surface book. It would be much smoother to enable the app for SB itself. Any plans in the works?

I had the same question, but figured that any charger that worked for SP3 or SP4 would also work for SB. I know it's true of brick chargers and docks. Remember that SB charges on 12 v, so USB port charging (5 v) won't work.

I had a similar problem. Couldn't find a setting to change, and a reboot didn't help. What did seem to clear it up was using the scroll buttons. Once I did, the touchpad was fine.
