iPad Pro 12.9" with separate keyboard and pencil (stylus) Who's getting one

Would you trust any production work to an SD Card? In mine and many people I've spoken to's experience they seem to die very quick and are slow, cheap , poorly made and has been a driving factor as to why high end phones have been ditching them.

iPad Pro 12.9" with separate keyboard and pencil (stylus) Who's getting one

Yeh haha first thing I did was find Steve Jobs quote from 2010 "if it has a stylus they failed already". We'll see if Tim can prove Steve wrong.

iPad Pro 12.9" with separate keyboard and pencil (stylus) Who's getting one

Never gonna happen, Apple have always been clear that iOS is for touch, OS X is for classic k/b and mouse. Personally I find having two complimentary devices works better than one that tries be be all and ends up being 'meh' at both.

iPad Pro 12.9" with separate keyboard and pencil (stylus) Who's getting one

From now (iOS 9) as far as I can tell. Still limited to apps that support it (the attach button still has no file access as such, but it can look through iCloud drive, Google Drive, OneDrive etc).

iPad Pro 12.9" with separate keyboard and pencil (stylus) Who's getting one

I probably won't get one. It does have a few advantages over the SP3 though, such as: - Better battery life. - Higher res screen. - Plenty of Apps - An OS that is actually designed with the touchscreen as a focus, not an option. - Fingerprint sensor - Good cameras - Thinner - Lighter -...

Surface Pro 3 with Keyboard cover and Arc Mouse

Make sure to tell her it's a "tablet to replace her laptop" lol. Next? Not sure. I'm downsizing the amount of computers in the house from 5 to 2 (so if you wanna buy an iMac, let me know ;) ) And the surface barely gets used enough to justify any more.

    Just came in

Agreed, the design/battery life/InstantGO gives the SP3 all the advantages the more "mobile" RT range had anyway :)

Any Long-Term, Permanent Damage Done by SP3 Heating Up?

I'm sure solder cracking was one of the main causes of the Xbox 360 RRoD, so I'm sure Microsoft have put a lot of thought in to what materials to use with their hardware this time around!

Windows apps open & then immediately minimize?

Easiest thing is reinstalling the offending apps.

From Android to Windows phone, Bad Idea?

I regularly use all three of the main mobile systems, and Windows Phone is still the weakest for a few reasons. First let me say though that Windows Phone 8 as a system is great, stable and capable. It looks good, and was the first to implement the minimalist system now copied by Android and...

    Hot Bagging on Camera unlock

You can disable it from settings> pc and devices> lock screen. At the bottom it will have a switch to turn the cam shortcut on or off.

    Ear buds with microphones?

I don't think my Apple ones do, but I should think ones designed for Android will. I might test properly later.

Went to Microsoft Store today to possibly purchase -then went to Apple Store.

I don't think we'll be seeing a touch Mac any time soon. Apple have the very clear direction about their devices - iPad is tablet, Macbook is laptop. No hybrids. And it's a very good strategy, clearly MS have struggled to get the hybrid idea right with the backtracking and then no start menu...

Microsoft promises drastic cuts in disk space use for Windows 10

How about get rid of the redundant code and assets from Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 and 8 and leave us with a lean OS that only has what it needs. Every PC has access to the web - if a user really needs some compatibility package from years ago, then they can download it on the fly rather than...
