Would you trust any production work to an SD Card? In mine and many people I've spoken to's experience they seem to die very quick and are slow, cheap , poorly made and has been a driving factor as to why high end phones have been ditching them.

Never gonna happen, Apple have always been clear that iOS is for touch, OS X is for classic k/b and mouse. Personally I find having two complimentary devices works better than one that tries be be all and ends up being 'meh' at both.

From now (iOS 9) as far as I can tell. Still limited to apps that support it (the attach button still has no file access as such, but it can look through iCloud drive, Google Drive, OneDrive etc).

Agreed, the design/battery life/InstantGO gives the SP3 all the advantages the more "mobile" RT range had anyway :)

You can disable it from settings> pc and devices> lock screen. At the bottom it will have a switch to turn the cam shortcut on or off.

I don't think my Apple ones do, but I should think ones designed for Android will. I might test properly later.

I don't think we'll be seeing a touch Mac any time soon. Apple have the very clear direction about their devices - iPad is tablet, Macbook is laptop. No hybrids. And it's a very good strategy, clearly MS have struggled to get the hybrid idea right with the backtracking and then no start menu...
