yeh i wanted to get mine from PC world but the i5 8gb ram 256hd is out of stock might try john lewis too but someone mentioned they didnt stock one i wanted will keep checking pcworld see if they get stock in

i think it will not matter were i buy the surface from if i am buying the microsoft complete i will have to send it back to microsoft what ever happens

yeh i was deffo going to look in to microsoft complete or some kind or insurance for it with me working abroad six months a year i do alot of travelling , so theres more chance of me breaking damaging my surface

Hi i am currently waiting to buy my surface 3 when i get home from work in about 3 weeks am undecided as to buy it from the microsoft store online or in Pc world the actual shop whats the microsoft store like with returns if product is faulty , how long will it take to get my surface back etc...

thats sad to hear i am waiting to buy one in oct , but all these issues are worrying

seen people on ere going on about a problem with storing the pen that comes with the surface i have been looking for a sleeve for the surface when i get mine and come across this has a handy pocket for the pen...

yeh thanks i might take my hd into the shop before i purchase and plug it into a display model see how it goes just waiting round now till am next home and can purchase my surface will be great not carrying a heavy laptop with me everytime a travel

its not a yatch i work on a cable laying vessel with really slow internet am here for 4 weeks then home 4 weeks same rota all year i though it would be better dragging them onto surface cause though if surface is powering hd on usb it would drain battery quicker plus if am laying in bed it...

thats good that was my only concern cannot wait to get paid and go buy my surface 3 in oct will be alot better than carrying my laptop with me everytime i fly to work :)

yeh i will be getting a 128gb sd card but i work away at sea and have a 2tb harddrive full of films and tv series etc i wanna be able to drag which ever series i am watching at that moment n save it to the surface so i can watch it , without having the hd plugged in

Hi i am buying the surface 3 i7 version 256gb model in October i have been reading this forum seeing what problems people have been having , and also seeing the great stuff the surface 3 can do i have one question , i will be using a wd external 2tb harddrive , has any one had any problems...

think am going to go for i7 like cant help me self like if ye spending x amount on a device might as well get best one you can , specailly as i will keep it till it virtually breaks
