Hi I,ve had a surface pro 3 now since 2014 , its the i5 8gb ram 256gb hd running windows 10 pro The machine still runs perfect has had no issues with it although the batterys not great on it at the min around 4-5 hours off a full charge ive kept a keen eye on surface releases and pondered...

i will be sticking with the 3 , i get tech use it till its nearly dead or breaks , think my next surface will be the 5 possibly six , still love my surface does everything i need it to do and touch wood , have had no problems with it as yet , windows 10 runs loverly on it too

hi i have followed steps as i am after google.co.uk instead of google.com , i put google.co.uk but it always seems to search with google.com any ideas

i werent sure at first whether to upgrade straight away as i was worried my pioneer ddj sb wouldnt work with serato , they have all worked fine too , with updates i can see it just getting better and better

Ye I travel from uk to Germany upto 6 times a year and if you have surface in a sleave in a bag just take it out the bag but leave it in its sleeve to go through machine

This can be set as resolved now seems surface sorted it self out in a few days , that's my surface back to no issues since bought it , love mine great little machine

I can run windows update using the windows control panel , but I update using like the metro side of the surface if that makes sense

I work offshore so take my surface everywhere I go couldn't be with out it

I use it with a pioneer ddj sb and serato works great

Am sure someone on ere said you should calibrate your battery and then check report as it could be giving you wrong readings , they said let the battery run down to 0 then fully charge the battery with out using the surface then check report

My battery capacity started at 42157 Now says full 41093 That's after 107 cycles

how is this even possible my battery showing more capacity then the design capacity pic attached mines the LCE battery

I think its pretty good as mentioned doesn't get lap warm like laptops do , agreed can dig into your legs but its nothing major as weights nothing at all
