Thanks guys, I finally got them all installed. Started with the firmware update and then proceeded with the rest. Greg was correct, it needed a lot of patience, took more than 3hrs. Moral of the story is, don't stop an update halfway.

Just what I went out and did. I ordered a new loop from MS Japan yesterday. The loop tends to get loose after some time. The second loop doesn't touch the buttons so that's not a problem on mine.

You might be pressing they power button longer than necessary. I had the same experience when I first got my sp3 and I thought I had a faulty unit. Just a single press on the power button and wait, the screen will definitively turn on.

Hi guys, lately I've noticed the CPU usage spike up and the fan kicking into high gear when I'm browsing the Engages.com site in modern internet explorer. It really makes the pages loaded very slowly. Wonder if anyone experienced this too.

OneDrive is incredibly slow from my perspective too. And I have a super fast fibre Internet connection here in Japan. Even Onenote syncing takes time compared to Google keep syncing.

In Japan, but bought my i3 version from the US Microsoft store. The i3 version isn't available in Japan.
