Power Cover on Surface Pro 3

Would be best if MS themselves made it, but hey, I'll take it even from the devil himself if it's feather light and well made.

Will the i3 be enough for Office and browsing?

Hey Mitch, have you tried scaling up to 200 and increasing text sizes on the metro side. Works best at those settings IMHO

Power Cover on Surface Pro 3

What a stupid idea. A touch cover battery pack would be a great accessory, even if it adds only 2hrs of usage.

    OneDrive frustrations

Kinda funny I moved all my files to OneDrive and don't have any of these issues. Well occasionally a file decides it doesn't want to sync but I believe it's because I open up and edit the same file simultaneously on my PC and ipad. I have the 1TB from my office365 sub., but I don't remember...

Surface Pro 3 Eye Strain, and how I got rid of it. BUYERS BEWARE!!

Fair enough best, but the post was about getting rid of eye strains and headaches from looking at the screen which is also what the topic is about. So I don't see any thing that could be misleading here.

Will the i3 be enough for Office and browsing?

Get the i3 dude. That's what I got. pretty smooth no problems as in getting too warm or choking. I'm posting this message from Tappatalk in DuOS running Android in windows and the machine is as cool as it can get, no fan noise. That's how powerful the i3 is.

Surface Pro 3 Eye Strain, and how I got rid of it. BUYERS BEWARE!!

Hi Kris, nothing technical. Just go to control panel on desktop and find the 'display' settings. open it, you'll find the default is 150 but just under it is an optiion to set your custom size. Click on that at move the slider to 200. follow the onscreen instruction to log out and log back in...

Surface Pro 3 Eye Strain, and how I got rid of it. BUYERS BEWARE!!

I think Bandito hit the nail on the head. The culprit wasn't the PWM technology but the dpi/ text size. The default on the modern UI was normal and on the desktop it was 150dpi. I increased the desktop to 200 and the modern UI to large and I'm happy to say that the eye strain and consequent...

opening onenote with pen doesn't work anymore

I think you don't need a PDF printer to save as PDF. Once you have captured what screen you want either using metro OneNote or desktop version ( yes you can configure which to use as the default OneNote app), go to the desktop version, open file on the upper left hand side and on the menu of the...

    Genymotion and bluetooth

Hi guys, I'm running DuOS on my i3 Surface pro and I can confirm that it is the best way to run Android on Windows. I posted a video on Youtube about 2 days ago. I'll try to provide the link to it.

Surface Pro 3 Eye Strain, and how I got rid of it. BUYERS BEWARE!!

I guess so. The screen of my surface gives me a bad headache each time I use it. Tried an elecom matte screen protector today after increasing the DPI from the default 150 to 200. I got much better, but using the pen became a problem. To much friction and a screeching sound, so I had the sp...

Surface Pro 3 Eye Strain, and how I got rid of it. BUYERS BEWARE!!

I too have been experiencing this eye strain and a headache since I started using my surface pro3 four days ago. I actually thought the device was too bright and reduced brightness to 35%, but the headache hasn't gone away. I really hate these so called "retina" devices. Was one of the reasons...

    WiFi setup question

Hi guys, first post on this forum. Just found out about it and registered immediately. Being a member of the tabletpcreview forums for a long time though. I wanted to say that exactly the same thing happened to me as I setup my surface i3 version. In my case though I choose to transfer my...
