So, your SP3 goes to sleep correctly now, sounds like. I just don't like how if you fart on your SP3 it wakes up... It's hyper-senstive, anything you do, even a light brush on the mousepad wakes it. To me, it should ONLY wake if the power button depressed, without exception!

I think it may be this issue... The only thing I've installed over the last few weeks is a few Stardock applications. I also installed CoreTemp, which is a CPU/Load/Memory monitor. Maybe thats it?

This has happened to my unit as well but would have never put those two things together. Odd. Looks as if M$ is going to have to amend their Sp3 user manual, to include: "When resetting, make sure TypeCover is not folded back."

yep, nips is dead-on accurate. A few weeks ago i enabled hibernatiom with the GPE as well and it worked, but wasnt the solution i was looking for.
