What Are Your SD Card Slot Read/Write Times? Mine R Slowwww....

It's just ridiculous. I installed iTunes last night on my SP3 (GASP! I know it was for my wife). I installed it on the SDcard first, which took quite a long time, I'd say about 5-8 minutes. Then I uninstalled, then re-installed on the SSD. The installation from start to finish took less than...

What Are Your SD Card Slot Read/Write Times? Mine R Slowwww....

Perhaps this is typical, or normal, by my SDXC card slot has the standard SanDisk 128GB MicroSD card inside it, and whilst using HD Tune Pro, Im getting 30-40MB/sec read/write times, which are mainly 'burst' rates, as the rate drops every few seconds and then spikes anywhere between 30-40MB...

Any Long-Term, Permanent Damage Done by SP3 Heating Up?

Funny, I've had an iPhone for years, and have never ONCE encountered that cool-down warning screen. As far as the SP3 goes, besides the fact of it getting extremely hot in a single moment, any idea about the damage that may be done of it being hot for a prolonged period of time? I doubt there...

Any Long-Term, Permanent Damage Done by SP3 Heating Up?

I was wondering this, as each day perhaps once or twice my SP3 will heat up significantly, nearly to the point where I can not rest my hand on it's rear (lol) for any length of time. Does anyone know if this does any long-term type damage? Or has this been figured into the design of the thing...

How to Set SP3 in Ycbr444 Display Mode?

All my external monitors have a whitsh "washed-out" appearance. I remember I had this issue before and I had to set my nVidia graphics setting from RGB to Ycbr444... With the Sp3, there's obviously no graphics settings other than the stock windows 8 setting. Does anyone know how to do this...
