Absolutely agree with you. The key is "in place upgrade" that is what I did. Otherwise you could be in trouble. But I thought it is already well understood at this point of time.

I don't think it would be an issue. The only reason they insisted on via windows update is to test their servers as this is the way forward. But we will see, I am all in for adventures :)

Does any of you have high memory usage by system process? It is reaching 800MB sometimes. With only 4GB of ram my SP3 is almost freezing.

Lol. Nope. I haven't installed any insider builds on my SP3 prior to 10240. I just downloaded the iso and upgraded from 8.1 three days back. It worked like a charm. Anyone who wants to upgrade, just find the iso and you are good to go. But make sure you do a double reset. My system is running...

I installed the latest build because people said it is running smooth. And I also did a reset after that. I am kind of jealous of you guys if it's running so good for you. I will do a reset one more time because last time it was stuck on 99% for a long time, may be something didn't go well.

I love the direction windows 10 is heading to. But the system is running really hot and the fans are spinning like crazy. I also find it a bit buggy. Not able to pin programs to start etc., Thinking of rolling back to windows 8.1.

Solved this by first connecting the adapter to SP3 and then connecting VGA cable to the monitor. Strange issue but I am happy it worked.

I have the driver version: 10.18.14.4170. But F.lux is still freezing the computer. Is there any workaround for this?
