    Charge Indicator Light

Nope, it doesn't turn off. You have to check the system tray for the battery charge. I do hope on the next generation of Surface chargers they incorporate what Apple does-- when charging it shows an orange light, and when fully charged it shows green. :)

    Microsoft Band Forums are Live!!

You don't have to turn tiles off/on and reposition to clear the data/info. Just powering off the band will also clear the info. Swipe all the way to the right in the gear icon, power icon, and turn power off. Then turn the band back on with the power button.

    Kickstand noise

Not sure what noise you're talking about, but once in awhile I do get a creak when opening it. I'm not concerned at all as its been working fine. But i haven't seen any reports of people having the kickstand break either. Maybe stop by the store to see if the creak is exhibited on store models...

    18/11/2014 (or 11/18/2014) keeps reinstalling

I get the same thing. Other than a repetitive loop of 11/18/2014 System update, everything is working fine so I'm not too concerned. Its part of the territory when trying Win10 Tech Preview aka alpha/beta software. :)

Solved Anyone experience problems with AC Adapter?

If there's a local MS store, definitely drop by. They should be able to exchange it for a new one after confirming the old one has died. Is the cable frayed where the adapter plugs into the SP3? I've read others have seen something similar and have tried reinforcing that area with heat shrink...

Hello from a (nearly former) Mac user

Welcome! I still continue to use both Mac (on retina MBP) and Windows (SP3) and think it depends on what you do. Each has its own pros and cons for experienced to new user, to graphics and development, each person is different and what they can afford. At the moment, I would have to say Windows...
