When I checked again the update status, it said a reboot was required. It didn't say anything about failure, so I rebooted and everything now says success and no camera issues.

What's so frustrating about something like this is that you're so accustomed to leaving things in a certain state and wanting to resume exactly where you left off, but you now have to reboot and start from scratch.

Same issue here. I've noticed that the length of time it has been sleeping is also a factor; that is, for short durations, it will still wake, but not for long durations.

Sadly, yes and no. No, because I had tried the upgrade undocked and it equally failed. Yes, because once I got the upgrade to start, undocking it caused me to get past the black screen issue I had at 91% progress.

Keep trying and it will eventually find the Update. However, I still received the same error. I'm going to try disabling all non-Microsoft services at startup and see if that does anything. That's the last thing I'll be attempting tonight.

Yep, that one not only found and fixed different errors but repeated run of it resulted in no more errors found. Unfortunately, I still end up with 0x80070003. :(

Go into Event Viewer...Windows Logs...System and you'll see an Error entry for Windows Update.
