I at least hope they make a powered keyboard again. my SP2 with that keyboard has a GREAT battery life. my SP4 just has an ok battery life. I would LOVE to have a power base like the books have on my surface pro. without the full tablet, I feel the book isn't what I want.

there seems to be a few issues with windows 10 and those drive, ill keep on poking around. I'm assuming, you're plugged into power while trying it.

in the connection tab in wireless properties, security type. there is all sorts of setting for WPA2 and 802 settings. try mucking with stuff there. my issue is coming back to me, but mine was connecting but no internet from my hotspot. so at least the trouble shooting should still help. after...

I still cant remember OR find my post on the Microsoft forums. I swear I had the same thing on my SP2. SSID or FIPS setting.. maybe just toggle them one at a time. and possible toggle the ip6 stuff. hold hope man, I was stuck for awhile.

i remember on my sp2 I had that issue..im trying to think of what fixed it for me. it was some odd check box that made it all good ill go look might have been a SSID or FIPS setting... its been along time. hopefully those or the ip6 thing helps I'm guessing it connects to your cell phones...

Did you clean the contacts? eraser cleans them good

sounds like most people are using a usb to video adaptor for a 2d monitor. I think the pro 2 isn't strong enough for 3 monitors but I use a higher resolution. Finally: Daisy-Chaining Monitors With DisplayPort 1.2!

all sorts of stuff from, 3d max to games, hooking up to continuous run printers. abit of everything. im still shocked they havent made a power cover for any surface past 2.. .. seems a shame

so, its time for me to upgrade. i know the i5 SP4 is better for battery life but the i7 i hear is a bear. i would say 1 time a month i come home with 20/40% battery life with my SP2 and power cover. do any of you surface gurus have any ideas to help me chose. a part of me thinks the best...
