Weird ... I opened Edge, FireFox & Chrome together each on this site with only one tab open each - Firefox 167 MB, Edge 131 MB, Chrome 63 MB of RAM. No idea why it's different than yesterday. Nevertheless, Chrome is consistently using less RAM than the other two - around half as much. CPU usage...

I doubt we'll ever know, but I can't help but wonder what percentage of SP3's have been returned/repaired out of the total number of new sales? On a forum like this we hear a lot of problems, but even then you wonder what % of total new sales is acceptable or unacceptable with a high tech device...

Not exactly on point, but I noticed that Edge uses twice the RAM that FireFox uses. CPU usage is the same between them, but why twice the RAM for Edge?

I had a couple of older games I tried on my SP3 with Win10 and...no dice. Tried a more recent game, and it runs with no issues...go figure. I've got a box of older games that I haven't tried yet, but I have to wonder if there isn't something in Win10 that's going to nix them too.

I've noticed after a Win10 update the other day that my fan isn't running as much nor is my SP3 case as warm or as often as it was. Anyone else notice this?

Don't know why Edge on your SP3 is having this issue. When I open Edge on my SP3, the Close "X", Resize Box and Minimize dash are all visible and functional. Can Edge be reinstalled? AFAIK, Edge only offers Dark and Light options in Settings concerning fonts/viewing at this time.

Trying to figure out some games that are compatible with the HD 4000 and Win10 seems to be complicated. Anyone notice issues or have suggestions besides just buying a game and trying it (like Russian Roulette)?

Mine seems to be functioning properly. If I click the pen button, MUI OneNote opens. Even though I have desktop OneNote set as the default, is the pen set only to open MUI OneNote when you click the purple button on top?

Not greatly. The 32" is quite a bit taller so that's a gain there. It's not a 16:9. It's working out very well considering not having to have double everything to run the two 24" screens.

It should drive it just fine. I was using two 24" monitors off my SP3, and now I'm running one 32" Samsung 2560 x 1440 with no issues. I use a MS Dock also, but it will run the monitor directly from the SP3 or through the Dock.

If they're DP monitors, you can daisy- chain them (hooking one to the other) with the first one plugged into your mDP on your SP3 or the DP on your MS Dock. If they're not DP monitors, you can run one off your MS Dock DP with an adapter cable for whatever monitor type you have (HDMI, DV etc) and...

Pardon my lack of understanding, but what is the purpose or benefit of mapping OneDrive? OneDrive is always available to me if I have an internet connection, so you must have something else in mind.

I like OSX and the Apple trackpad. I don't find the SP3 type cover pad as good as the Apple.

All of them will shut down IF they get past the heat ceiling designed into them. As far as using it on your lap, I wouldn't expect there to be more heat unless the device is lying flat on your lap (or most any other location). I've had my SP3 get pretty warm lying flat on a table or something...

On my SP3, using a mouse I can right-click on nearly anything in IE or other programs and get a context menu. Yours should act similarly.

If you're using the touch pad on the type cover with the SP3, you tap the touch pad with two fingers at one time and a context menu will appear in context to where the cursor is located. If you are using touch on the SP3 touch screen, press one finger down on the screen and you'll see a box...
