Battery 1 is in the keyboard and Battery 2 is in the clipboard. If running the SB on battery, you'll notice Battery 1 is losing ground while 2 is staying at 100%. It uses the larger one in the keyboard first.

My Windows Update has been stuck for several days. It's showing updates from a few days ago that are there to be downloaded, but it shows 0%. This is apparently blocking any other updates (such as the one today) from attempting to download. Anyone know a quick fix to reset Windows Update?

Can't say about all the FB's, but they all can be made to wobble. However, any movement of my clipboard when attached isn't distracting to me. Like everything else, some will be bothered and others won't.

You're right...weird. Mine's setting there at 1% download; has been for a while. Of course, I've watched these things before: sometimes they'll set there forever, then suddenly jump to 50% or 75%. I guess if it's hung up, it will let me know eventually. Wanting to see if the 11-2 will download...

FWIW, I've read that the two GPU's are supposed to work together. From that I didn't get that it's one or the other but rather both in sync working together. Maybe that's blarney but I've seen that somewhere.

If you're referring to my comment about resetting the Surface Book, I had to hold down "shift" while restarting. That kicked it into the screen where you can choose whether to reset, refresh etc. From there it just did its thing.

Although I haven't actually used my mDP on my SB yet, it doesn't "click" or lock in place. Close tolerance for the fit is what keeps it in there, i.e. friction. If pushing it in the port all the way isn't enough to keep it secure, the cable/adapter is the problem.

Thank you! Well, it appears that the i7 in the SB only has the fact that it's an i7 going for it. I think for upper end users the i7 would offer some usable benefit, but it sounds like the i5 will be more than capable enough for the majority of users - at least that's my take from all this...
