I'm going to take a look at that. I draw to relax really on my surface I find it very therapeutic, I'm on the lookout for other apps. I have PhotoshopCC which I use for photography but it's too much for me for drawing on.

HID = Human Interface Device Try removing them now then plug the keyboard back in, perhaps a reinstall might work. If no luck try looking at the docking connections between the keyboard and the Surface, as it's magnetic it may have attracted some foreign objects.

Hmm, someone more knowledgeable may know why there's two on my SP3 running win 10 there's HID keyboard and Surface type cover filter device but I'm running a SP4 typecover now. If it were me I'd be tempted to try updating both drivers first, then if that didn't work I'd remove both then...

Try removing the device in device manager than plug it back and and reinstall it.

I've had it happen a couple of times too also SP4 cover on SP3 Like right now the trackpad is working but the two finger scroll no longer works. After I wrote that I clicked the keyboard back on again and it's working fine now!
