For now I've fixed this by installing AVAST (which does seem pretty good tbh) however I would like to know why defender wasn't starting before. I didn't have any other AV installed, except malwarebytes and that never caused a problem before.

I did the major 1511 update last night and now Windows defender won't start. I can try to switch it on but it turns itself off. I keep getting notifications about not having virus protection. I have Malwarebytes installed but that never caused a problem before. All updates have been done...

I just downloaded the trial of clip studio. Wow, it's very nice!! Quite powerful, very nice interface with good touch controls and not nearly as confusing as Corel or Photoshop to use. I like it a lot. I'm definitely going to buy it as it's a reasonable price too compared to the Corel software...

Looks really good! I ordered some things from them on 24th Nov. They were attempted delivery on 26th ; that'sfrom US A to UK. Very impressive! I haven't managed to pick them up from the post office yet though .

Ummm Whoops I just found the tool on the end of the extra tip box... it's like a tweezer device. However it took a few attempts to get my HB nib out of my pen... teeth are more efficient!

Yep I tried taking a pic of my old pen and new pen side by side and couldn't separate them. The magnet on the new pen was strong enough to keep them tight together. Doesn't work so well keeping the pen on the device though. Better than the old pen on the power magnet though.

I've seen someone here say that no the new nibs don't work on the older pen. I have both so I could try it out but I haven't yet! Is there a tool for getting the nibs out? I must admit I've used my teeth in the past lol!

Same experience with decal girl skins no residue after a year on my sp3

I've used defender for a year now without problems. Before that I had bitdefender but that caused issues with the fan running on my SP3, no issues with defender. I sometimes run a malwarebytes scan also and it hasn't so far found anything defender missed.

That is also true... I use a normal intuos wacom tablet on my PC but I thought that Cintiq's could be used standalone with normal graphics programs but I'm not entirely clear on that in actual fact.

Yes I have photoshop CC as part of Creative Cloud (I am a photographer so use Lightroom also) but I don't like it for drawing. Not at my level. I think I'll stick with more basic apps as it suits my ability level. lol

I agree with that really. The main market for the Ipad pro would be artists really. I'd like a go with the Pencil. That Ipad pro keyboard cover just looks a mess and it makes the ipad pro look so ugly and wobbly and to my eyes completely non-Apple-like, emphasises that the Surface type cover...

That keyboard cover for the iPad pro is so ugly and wobbly, it really shows up what an elegant solution the surface type cover and kickstand combo is! Interesting trawling youtube videos on the iPad pro in the comments the majority of people ate talking about the surface pro...advertising lol.

Hmm Corel Painter is good but way to complicated for me so I don't think I'm going to buy it. Neither ArtRage nor Corel Painter recognise the eraser on the SP4 pen as an eraser which is a shame. Do you know any way to map these apps to the new Eraser?
