It seems the pen loop can only remain attached up to one re-attachment. I stuck the pen loop first then decided it wasn't the spot I wanted so I removed it again. I re-attached it somewhere and then it stayed there. A month later, I decided I want to align it with the Surface brand on the...
Having a battery meter on Surface Pro 3 would be a death sentence for them... 1 hour of writing using the pen drains 30% of the battery. It shuts itself off at 5% too.
If there are any problems with the device that Microsoft supplied to them, they can actually refund it from Microsoft so that shouldn't be a problem with any retailer.
lol. if only it wasn't a glitch, i'd be the happiest person, 334k, that's like a lifetime worth of battery lol
i realized it adjusts as the day moves on, hopefully i'll get a normalized average next time.
I only hold mine in portrait mode because if I held mine with both hands in landscape, I always end up touching the start button. I know I can turn off the start button but I don't like turning off things that I would be turning on again afterwards.
My SP3 doesn't have this issue with my Wi-Fi at home but it does at my college. Every time I put it to sleep, it loses connection and I have to manually re-connect. Must be with how the wi-fi is set up at my school.
as much as I love cases like these, I won't be using it on my SP3. I did get the Sp3 for its sleekness and weight and I just can't get myself to attach something so bulky on it...although I do cringe when I lightly bump my sp3 on stuff...
if only windows defender showed what files it was scanning, I wouldn't be so dumbfounded by the sheer amount of files.
@ctitanic,
oh I see. I get it now. It does make sense considering this is a different OS with different applications running and features.
If you're using the type cover and keep it attached while on storage, you should have no reason to use screen protectors. I'm sure the pen is designed not to scratch the screen.
If you're the type of person who buys a device and stick to it until it gets broken, get the i7.
If you're the type of person who tends to upgrade when a newer version of the device comes out, get the low to mid range, the i5 or something.
I only got the i3 version since it's my first time using...
my kickstand also wobbles for about 1/3 of an inch. I only had it for 3 weeks though. I didn't even notice it was wobbling until today. I will go out tomorrow and check if the SP displays on the stores also wobbles this way
I've done a windows defender full scan on my sp3 which I've only had for 3 weeks and it scanned over 590,000 files. I've done a full scan on my 3-year old laptop where I keep my music, my pictures and everything and it only had 280,000 files.
