Correct, but this is not an ARM device that will force you to use metro apps all time. So PCMag battery numbers are to me a mental masturbation at best.

Here is the thing, they said that in that same test: I really don't know how they got 8:55 out of the PRO 3 in a real life scenarios.

No question about it. Take 100 dollars out it or give away the keyboard for free and you have a winner in the S3. For the current price, I doubt that is going to be a hit.

Wow! Streaming is ok, no doubt about it. Those criticizing the PRO3 gaming capabilities should have used this method instead of making the lot of noise they made because the PRO3 was getting hot. ;)

So then how do you explain the difference in the numbers. I do not have the S3 yet but I would be surprised in anyone with normal use get 11 hours after seeing the numbers in this review.

The S 3 has the size that I wanted but with that processor I'll not give up SPRO3. The S3 is only a match for those with WinRT.

Their numbers is too far from these numbers. They look more like MS numbers and we all know those are not realistic.

I would be more than happy if I'm just seeing a ghost. I hate to be wrong but this is one of those cases where I'll be happy. For the record, I stopped reading PC Magazine more than 10 years ago.

The reason why I opened this thread is because I hate when manufacturers set the expectations to high. The fact is that 90% of users will never see those promised 10 hours. In another hand, I have read many reviews and very few of them are talking about the battery life, why? 6 to 7 hours...
