For me, it was the decision of 8GB/i5/256GB Surface Pro 2 vs 4GB/i5/128GB Surface Pro 3 Ultiamtely I went with the SP3 and with 10 tabs open in Chrome almost daily for weeks on end, and Youtube/Hulu/Netflix in the background and gaming, I haven't had any out of memory errors at all.

Replacing the screen doesn't seem too difficult. Coming from someone who previously (successfully) replaced a cracked iPhone 5S screen/digitizer, which you have to transfer all the original components to the replacement part. Front camera sensor, light sensor, home button, etc.

At this point, if your screen breaks. I'd go all out and upgrade the SSD to whatever amount you can afford. But I'm not going to purposely break my screen just to upgrade :D

With cracked screens, has anyone tried to order a replacement screen on Ebay and just swap it out that way? I see them for around $95 shipped.

Try getting a replacement AC Adapter from MS. Or use an outlet that is not on a power strip.

Maybe plan a trip to US and stop at a Microsoft store!~

Do you have AC running? The ambient temperature in whichever room you are using it in can affect the surface pro 3 fan coming on.

Too much is said in your reply. I would be direct and say yes I would like a reply, instead of yes, I said this on Monday, called, confirmed, etc. The rep on the receiving end might be a douche and not honoring it because of the tone of the replies. Who knows.

Contact Microsoft support. I don't have Complete warranty, but was able to get a replacement surface pen (bluetooth wouldn't connect) and AC adapter (weird issues with maintaining 100% charge when plugged in), for FREE.

Okay 45 days. I wish I got Complete, but I didn't and am taking a risk for moving it around a lot. Point is, the OP had the chance of buying Complete for well under the costs of a replacement, but didn't.

I voted no and I have the newest June update. There is a TINY, TIIIIIINY white flash at startup, but it's barely noticeable and you'd have to be looking for it. I'm not even sure I saw it, that's how minuscule it is.

Nope, can't say I have. We would all like TPU cases, but that goes against the keyboard dock and built in stand. You'd have to scrounge up enough buyers and do a bulk buy from a fabrication plant.
