I wish we could see the battery percentage on the indicator. I got a Band app called "Band Companion," and it does show the percentage, but it isn't easy to read, so I got rid of it. I do have a Band app called, "Band Monitor." That will show the exact battery percentage, but not on the Band...

I haven't seen anything except the protector that comes with it. I screwed mine up too, so I just had the guys at the Microsoft Store put it on for me.

I'm not sure any techs would be comfortable working on a Surface. I don't believe it is user serviceable either. I know I wouldn't ever want to do it. I found this video a long time ago, and had to resolve myself to the fact that the Surface is just not a serviceable machine. Dare I say it...

Thank you. I just did, and nothing for Chrome. Is there a reason video playback is so horrid in IE? (I'm using desktop version.) Video is choppy, and takes forever to load.

I just checked start up, and there is nothing there from Chrome. I'll give it a few more days. :)

Ok, so I copied all my favorites over from Chrome to IE. Did I read correctly somewhere on this forum that just having Chrome on your SP3 will drain the battery, even if not used? I set IE as my default browser, but still have Chrome installed. So far, I don't see a big difference in battery...

I agree. I have exactly the same experiences as you.

I am using the screen protector. I had the guys at the Microsoft Store apply it for me.
