I am taking my SP3to the MSFT Store to have it rolled back to Win 8.1 this afternoon. I can't get Cortana to work, and am having problems with Edge and IE freezing. I just got an S3, and having 8.1 on it is just so much better.

My backlight stopped working on my typecover for my SP3. Now I am just going to have to buy a new one. Might have to get a new pen too. :p

My Surface 3 4GLTE is working great on AT&T. I didn't have to modify my card, though.

I'd like to get one, but am still undecided. My Band One is still working good.

Well, I went ahead and bought the Surface 3 with 4G LTE/128GB/4GB. I decided I want something smaller to bring out with me. I'll be using both the SP3 and S3. The SP3 will be at home use, and the S3 will be while I'm out. I may go ahead and upgrade to the SP4 when it does eventually come...

More of an upgrade and backup PC, really. Not sure when the SP4's are going to be available.

I already have an SP3 i5, and very much considering buying an i7, just to have as backup. Anyone else own more than one SP3?

I did that, but it still does not give me an option to "retry."

This happened to me as well, and I see no way to retry. Hopefully it will resolve itself soon.

I think it has to do with Cortana. I disabled Cortana, and my fan issues went away, along with improving my battery life. I also disabled location services, and that helped too.

Thank you, this does work, but I hate having to remove my micro SD card every time I need my SP3 to sleep, though.

I also have this problem. I think it's Microsoft Edge.
