Surface 3. Recommended it to me?

Hi, I'd say if you are looking for excellent handwriting recognition and pen integration, then yes you want a Surface. Otherwise @hughlle is correct, there are other devices that will meet your requirements. I'm partial to the Surface though... ;)

    New surface 3 (128gb) owner

OneNote by itself is awesome. But on a Surface Pro 3... it gets wings. :)

Hating my new SPro 3 >:(

True. The newer the router, the less chance you will have of compatibility issues with your SP3. Also don't forget to make sure your router firmware is up to date as well.

swipe from the left in browser?

I don't believe so, but I'd be happy if they did bring it back. I used it heavily in Metro IE.

How to Replace LCD Glass Screen on Microsoft Surface Pro 3 | Take Apart

I think the only danger/difficulty, is that the SP3 screen is not really made to removed, it is heavily glued with some serious adhesive. So if your screen is already damaged then yeah, you're good to go probably.

Hating my new SPro 3 >:(

I second what Jeff said above. My brand new, out of the box SP3 was so buggy, it was so frustrating. Three weeks later I did a full reset on it, and it was a properly running machine after that.

Windows Update keeps reverting its settings

It's not your fault, really. I just don't do well with an "entitled" mentality. I know of only 2 people who frequent this forum that work for Microsoft in any capacity. This forum is not related to Microsoft in any way, their official forum is here- http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/surface...

Windows Update keeps reverting its settings

    Win 10 and OneDrive

I'm on the latest Win 10 build. I'm not as heavy a OD user as you are, but do have a good deal of content stashed there and I access it frequently. I shut my WiFi off just now, and had no issues getting to my content. I did get a notification that popped up that reminded me that I was off-line...

Windows Update keeps reverting its settings

Seriously!!? So every time you had a vehicle problem, you said "the benefit of owning a vehicle is..."???? Or the next time your shoelace breaks, your're going to lament about how you should have done more research on the thing?? It's a piece of tech. They break, they have quibbles, issues...

Windows Update keeps reverting its settings

Windows Updates issues are often difficult to pin down, and often frustrating. The following fix has worked on 2 different PC's that I've worked on, plus my own SP3. It very well may not work for you, so YMMV... Do Win+X and click on Search, and then type Services. Open the Services...

    Solved Graphics Control Panel/Scaling/Overscan

Just letting you know, Intel doesn't have much to do with it. Microsoft takes the Intel driver and then tweaks it for compatibility with Connected Standby and power usage. Lots of folks do of course just use an Intel driver because it offers more fine-tuning controls. I do agree though, it can...
