You're not going to like this answer but I would recommend not docking it with the cover closed. I find my SP3 runs much warmer with the cover on while docked. I don't find it difficult to use the dock. Not any more difficult than any HP, Dell, or Lenovo dock.

You think? I'm under the impression since iOS is so locked down and limited its more inherently secure. Not to say iOS is perfect because its limitations. Microsoft biggest thorn is legacy support. I bet Microsoft would love to stop supporting the previous OS everytime a new OS was released.

Great story! Thanks for sharing it. If you get a chance shot a quick email to Microsoft about your great service. I think they're pretty good about rewarding they're employees when they do something good. Although, I'm not sure if that applies to the retail staff.
