I don't really understand Microsoft whole concept of optional updates.

I've seen it on multiple systems some worst than others. It's probably a combination problem with QC and product design.

My SP3 is exactly the same. I'm not super happy with the screen quality between the backlight bleed and yellow streak. It's not a deal breaker but it's disappointing for a top tier product.

Anything from BGR is bound to be wrong. I would be surprised to see a larger Surface Pro size.

I think it's generally better to have a couple really good cores then 4 mediocre cores. Most apps don't see much of a performance boost in a multi-core environment. That's why Apple has stuck with dual cores in the A series processors.

I don't really use my pen much and I have a docking station but it's for a specific purpose. However I can't image people not using the keyboard. Windows just isn't optimized for use without a keyboard and touchpad.

Out of the ashes rises the Surface 3. It looks very competitive but the keyboard is a must $129 add-on for the best experience.

I finally found some time to circle back to this. I looked at buying a Jabra headset but the options were more expensive then I was willing to spend. So I downloaded Audio Switcher Tool per your recommendation. It works perfect and is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

This is true everywhere. Apple gives you almost nothing for an old iPad.

If I was you I would backup my data to OneDrive and/or USB drive and restore my system back to new. It shouldn't take more than a couple hours and you can't beat a clean system.

So far Microsoft hasn't really had a product cycle. The SP3 launched in June so this would be approximately one year out from it. I'm sure 4G LTE would be useful for some people but I would think most people wouldn't care about it. We'll see soon enough.
