why not get rid of the router with the bandwidth issue? My company has multiple wireless routers in 2 and 5 ghz and when Im walking around the building my sp2 switches flawlessly between connections. Im thinking its the router that is the issue.

sounds like something is def working the processor, mine is cool to the touch doing normal stuff...games will warm it up for sure

agree with this, sometimes I catch myself looking closely at the touch pad to make sure im hitting the button area if Im trying to right click. Also I wish they made the touch pad a "slick" surface

I don't have a power cover but I wonder if the keyboard is always "on" or is there a on/off switch? maybe that's draining it?

I like my ipad but yes indeed it has it's limitations...One thing I rarely see discussed is with the ipad you kind of need another pc or mac to accompany it if you want to add ripped music or movies to the tablet. The surface pro truly is a free standing device not dependent on another system.

I still use a desktop "like a desktop" but since getting used to the swipe features of surface pro/win 8 I found myself accidentally doing them on an ipad.

thinner, lighter, the current screen size is fine for me, internal pen storage similiar to the samsung note, third kickstand position further reclined or infinite adjustable kickstand, more ram etc, shrink the price difference between storage capacities, additional usb port etc etc

this is one thing that kept me away from a touch screen laptop, it drove me crazy with the screen moving around

I replaced my ipad mini with a venue pro 8 for travel, i do everything I did with the mini on the venue plus loaded my cadd software so when I visit a customer I can tweak designs right there in their plant while holding it with one hand. first time I experienced windows 8 was on a laptop, HATED THE EXPERIENCE. Now ive learned to use it on a tablet its not all that bad

hopefully the specs are correct, 8 inch screen is just right IMO and FULL windows 8.1-bay trail - I have a dell venue pro 8 64gb and it is nice to have a low cost portable machine to take anywhere in the palm of your hand.
